Star Siblings

Hey guys, welcome back. Today I really wanted to do a post (which honestly isn't very different from the others) about the Star Siblings in Hollywood. I'm a movie freak, this is why the celebrities below are all film stars. Check them out.

Maggie and Jake Gyllenhaal

Maggie Gyllenhaal is best known for her role as Raches Dawes, in The Dark Knight. She also starred in the television miniseries The Honorouble Woman, for which she won a Golden Globe. Whereas Jake, won a BAFTA for his performance in Brokeback Mountain and was also nominated for an Oscar. He received recongnition for roles in Love & Other Drugs, Southpaw, Nightcrawler for which he was nominated for a Golden Globe. He played alongside his sister in the psychological horror film Donnie Darko in 2001.

Kate and Rooney Mara

Kate Mara is probably best known for her role as Zoe Barnes in the political drama House of Cards. She appeared in The Fantastic Four, as the Invisible Woman, and The Martin in 2015. Rooney was nominated for an Oscar twice, for her performances in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo in 2011, and Carol in 2015. For her role as Therese in Carol she won the award for Best Actress at the Cannes Film Festival.

James and Dave Franco

James Franco won a Golden Globe for playing the title character James Dean in 2001. He starred as Harry Osborn in the Spider-Man trilogy. He is also known for his roles in the films 127 Hours, Oz the Great and Powerful, Spring Breakers, The Interview etc. Dave Franco, is James' younger brother. He is known for his roles in the films 21 Jump Street, Now You See Me and Neighbors.

Alexander, Gustaf and Bill Skarsgård

Alexander, is best known for his role as vampire Eric Northman, in the series True Blood. He has been cast as Tarzan in the upcoming film The Legend of Tarzan to be released later in 2016. 

Gustaf is known for his role as Floki in the series Vikings.

Bill is known for his roles in Allegiant, and Hemlock Grove.

Mary-Kate, Ashley and Elizabeth Olsen

   

The twins, Mary-Kate and Ashley made they debut as infants in Full House, playing Michelle Tanner. They are best known for their roles in the films Passport to Paris, Winning London, Holiday in the Sun, When in Rome, New York Minute. Their younger sister Elizabeth is also an actress best known for her role as Scarlet Witch in Avengers: Age of Ultron, and Captain America: Civil War.

Chris and Scott Evans

 

Chris Evans is best known for his superhero roles as Captain America, and the Human Torch in Fantastic Four. In 2015 he made his directorial debut with the drama Before We Go, in which he also starred. His younger brother Scott, is known for his role as Oliver Fish in daytime soap opera One Life to Live. He is openly gay.

Dakota and Elle Fanning

Dakota Fanning earned a SAG Award nomination in 2001 for her performance in the film I am Sam at the age of seven, making her the youngest nominee in history. We fell in love with her in the film Man on Fire, as Pita alongside Denzel Washington. Her recent film roles include Cherrie Currie in The Runaways, Tessa Scott in Now is Good and Jane in The Twilight Saga. The younger sister of Dakota, Elle is mainly known for her roles as Alice Dainard in Super 8 and as Aurora in Maleficent.

Chris and Liam Hemsworth

Chris Hemsworth is an australian actor best known for his role as the Asgardian God, Thor in the Marvel Cinematic films. He has also appeared in the fantasy action films Snow White and the Huntsman, The Huntsman: Winter's War as Eric / The Huntsman and the sports drama film Rush as James Hunt. His younger brother Liam starred in the american film The Last Song, alongside Miley Cyrus with whom he had an on-again, off-again relatioship. And in 2012 he starred as Gale Hawthorne in The Hunger Games film series. Indipendence Day: Resurgence is his latest film, to be released later in 2016. They have and older brother named Luke, who is also an actor.
